ezi-FIBER™ mechanical splices

The ezi-FIBER™ mechanical splices are an inexpensive and fast alternative for finishing a fiber without using a fusion splicer.

Ezi-FIBER™ Splices use V-groove technology, to align the fibers and achieve physical contact between them. No tools are required to ensure that the fibers have a good connection. The result is a connection on the fiber in question with an average insertion loss of about 0.2dB.

Product number N6100-00012

  • Suitable for single- and multi-mode cables

DINTEK ezi-FIBER Mechanical Splice Termination

Fiber optic cable and fiber checker

DINTEK’s fiber optic cable is for both indoor and outdoor use. The length can be taken off by the meter as desired and has an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket. The size of the conductor reduces heat generation and voltage drop over distance. The cable meets all fire classification standards, including European B2ca standards. This means that the cable minimizes the risk of the after-effects of an electrical fire, such as inhalation of gas and smoke. Also, d e cable is metal-free, waterproof, UV-resistant and halogen-free.

With the fiber checker, it is possible to check if the fiber is broken and therefore has a poor connection.
